Carrer de Balmes, 113, 08008 Barcelona

An association made up of people from different backgrounds: migrants, refugees, LGBTQI+, etc. This great diversity sets the stage for a project which strives to make an impact on migrant LGBTQI+ people’s lives as well as to make other people aware of the reality that they are living. For justice and human rights.

Interculturality and diversity are our pillars and we work to create inclusive environments so that people can exercise their rights and freedoms. We believe in teamwork, mutual support, solidarity and horizontal relationships as tools for personal and collective empowerment.

For us, diversity, cultural and sexual, is an expression of the pluralism of democratic systems. For this reason, we promote reception through a dialogue of conscious construction between all the people involved. In this way, we open the way to the multiple realities that make up society.

At ACATHI we have three lines of action: people, the community and social transformation.
