The Observatory Against Homophobia is an entity based in Barcelona, which was established with the aim of making visible and denouncing homophobia , lesphobia, biphobia, transphobia and interphobia (LGTBI-phobia ) in Catalonia. Since the approval of Law 11/201, the OCH has the objective of monitoring and ensuring the rights of the LGTBI community, as well as responding to the needs of the victim in the face of possible situations of discrimination and / or victimization . The task of the OCH focuses on caring for people who have suffered situations of discrimination or aggression for reasons of sexual orientation, gender identity and / or gender expression. Likewise, it acts as an observer entity for the fulfillment of the rights of LGTBI persons and their guarantee. The OCH has been the tool for monitoring and reporting LGTBI discrimination in Catalonia until now.
